The Minsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital 

Healthcare Establishment «Minsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital» was founded in 1975.

Our main principle of work is to support and strengthen the desire to recover, add the kindness of one’s heart and professional skills, the latest medical means and technologies — and any illness will recede.

For numerous services, the Minsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital was awarded the honorary title «The organization of the health care of a child-friendly attitude», was awarded with the certificate of honor of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.

The Minsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital is engaged in the noble cause of restoring the health of children, and for some diseases — and adults, for more than 30 years. To date, the hospital has a friendly, highly qualified team of medical specialists, nurses and paramedical workers.

The hospital became the main specialized pediatric center in the Minsk region. In 23 medical-diagnostic departments for 615 beds, more than 150 doctors work in 20 basic medical specialties. Of these, almost half have the highest or first qualification categories. 5 doctors have a scientific degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Of the 340 medium-level medical workers, 43 percent also have a higher or first qualification category.

The hospital is located in a picturesque location in a new complex of buildings of modern architecture and arrangement of a total area of 22,9 thousand square meters, of which the working area is 17,7 thousand square meters. In the treatment and diagnostic process, the latest methods and scientific developments are applied, more than 1 thousand units of sophisticated modern medical equipment, effective medicines, for the acquisition of which about 1.0 billion rubles are spent per year.

The Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education cooperates fruitfully with the staff of the hospital, 4 of which conduct research and practical activities directly in the hospital’s treatment units.

About 6,000 surgical operations, 25,000 x-ray and ultrasound examinations, and 450,000 laboratory tests are performed by the hospital’s medical personnel annually.
