Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center

«Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center» of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus is the leading specialized institution of the Republic of Belarus, carrying out diagnostics, surgical, combined and complex treatment of patients with tumors of various localizations, as well as their dispensary observation and rehabilitation, including for foreign citizens on a paid basis.

At present, the Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center is a powerful specialized medical and preventive institution.

Every year more than 7,000 complex surgical procedures are performed in the dispensary:

• Reconstructive surgery on the bile and urinary tract
• Video-assisted thoracic operations (removal of lung and mediastinal tumors)
• Bronchoplasty operations
• Organ transplantation
• Mastectomy with primary and delayed mammoplasty implant
• Plastic and reconstructive operations to restore lost functions

During the year, about 4000 patients receive chemotherapeutic treatment and more than 3000 patients — radiation treatment using remote and intracavitary gamma-therapy. Methods have been introduced for the installation of long-term venous access systems for chemotherapy, radiotherapy using 3D planning.

The republican center of tumor pathology of the thyroid gland functions on the basis of the institution, which provides highly qualified assistance to residents of the republic with tumors of the thyroid gland.

The Department of Medical Rehabilitation is functioning; where in inpatient and outpatient settings, rehabilitation treatment for radically treated oncological patients is carried out.
