The state institution «Republican hospital of speleotherapy» of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus carries out specialized course treatment by the method of speleotherapy.

Medical profile:

  • Treatment of bronchial asthma of any etiology (allergic, non-allergic, mixed), mild and moderate severity of the course, controlled, respiratory failure (ND) no higher than I degree;
  • Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of mild and moderate severity, during remission, ND is not higher than I degree;
  • Treatment of chronic bronchitis during remission, ND is not higher than I degree;
  • Treatment of pollinosis (on the eve of the exacerbation season and during the exacerbation season);
  • Treatment of other allergic rhinitis;
  • Treatment of allergic urticaria;
  • Relief after pneumonia.

The effectiveness of speleotherapy at the end of the course is 97% (the most significant effect is obtained in patients with allergic bronchial asthma, mostly young and middle age), 32% of patients are discharged with significant improvement, 65% with improvement.
