Obstetrics and gynecology is a specialty of medical science, which studies physiological and pathologic processes in women’s body after impregnation and pregnancy, in labor and at postpartum period, issues of organization and rendering of medical care to a pregnant woman, woman in labour and obstetric patient, and also diagnostics, treatment and prevention of women’s genital diseases. Thanks to a long-standing practical experience of obstetricians and gynecologists of healthcare organizations of the Republic of Belarus, and also modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, patients have an individual approach, qualitative diagnostics and effective treatment and preventive methods in the treatment of gynecological diseases, and a full complex of preventive and treatment activities during pregnancy, labour and at a postpartum period.
